Seminar Wilayat e Ali (as)
24 December 2021 10:00 PM Khoja Masjid , Dongri

As the sacred month of Zilhajj unfolds, we find ourselves in a time of reflection, devotion, and deep spiritual significance. Zilhajj is not only the month of Hajj, a pillar of Islam, but it is also the month that marks the pivotal event of Ghadir Khumm, where the divine leadership of Imam Ali (as) was proclaimed by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) under Allah's command. In recognition of this monumental event, we are honored to host a seminar focused on "Wilayat e Ali (as)" at our mosque, bringing together scholars and the community to celebrate and deepen our understanding of this cornerstone of our faith. The month of Zilhajj holds a unique place in Islamic history. It is a time when Muslims from around the world perform the pilgrimage of Hajj, re-enacting the steps of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and renewing their commitment to Allah (SWT). However, it is also the month of Ghadir Khumm, the day when Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) declared, "Man kuntu mawlahu fa hatha Aliyyun mawlahu" ("For whomever I am his leader, Ali is his leader"), thereby affirming the Wilayat (authority) of Imam Ali (as) as his rightful successor and the first Imam. Wilayat e Ali (as) is the foundation upon which the Shia faith is built. It represents not just the leadership of Imam Ali (as) but the divine mandate that was bestowed upon him to guide the Muslim Ummah in both spiritual and worldly matters. This concept of Wilayat extends beyond the individual to encompass the Imamate, which is the guiding principle for the followers of the Ahlulbayt (as). This seminar aims to delve into the theological, historical, and spiritual aspects of Wilayat e Ali (as). It provides a platform for scholars to share their insights, for participants to engage in meaningful discourse, and for all attendees to renew their commitment to the principles of Wilayat that Imam Ali (as) embodied.
